Echo House

This is what I've spent the past year working on in my advanced technical design class. It's fairly different from my earliest concept of this nature, which I titled Echo House Version 2. I completely scrapped the idea of a second structure, both out of necessity and analysis of the design.

About halfway through the year, I realized I wouldn't have any time at all to create the second building, which was to mimic the shape of a fox's ear. People in my class also noticed this, because it was something I emphasized in my design presentation.

Overall, I am quite proud of the results I have ended up with. It took all of a week and a half to put together my environment, but it really doesn't show. I'm quite happy with my snow texture, despite the red tones and one comment about it looking like a desert. I got lucky with the swirls, they just popped up when I started altering modifiers on the texture.
